Dear Grant Families,

Welcome to the 2026-27 School Year! I hope this letter finds you well and that you've had a wonderful, relaxing summer. We're so excited to welcome both returning and new learners to what promises to be another fantastic school year at Grant Elementary!

Save the Date for our Family Game Night August 10th from 5:30-7:00 pm. We will have board games, card games, and other fun activities for families to enjoy. PTA will be holding their first membership drive, for every $7- membership purchased, you will receive a free pizza dinner. This is also the perfect opportunity to get help with your required back-to-school forms! We will have staff and Chromebooks available to help you complete the digital back-to-school packet through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please note that this packet must be updated for each child to participate in field trips, clubs, or extracurriculars. If you can't make it to Game Night and need help with the portal, please don't hesitate to contact our office at 707-441-2552. 

Important Back-to-School Information

We're kicking off the school year with our annual PTA Popcorn Posting August 14th from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM. Learners will receive a special treat and have the exciting opportunity to meet their teacher.

Parents and guardians will need to complete the digital back to school packet through the PowerSchool Parent Portal for each child. If you have any questions or need support with the PowerSchool Parent Portal, please don't hesitate to contact our office at 707-441-2552. We'll also have Chromebooks and staff available at the Family Game Night on August 10th to assist you.

Campus Information

The first day of school is Monday, August 18th! Here's a quick look at our daily schedule:

• 7:40-8:05 AM: Learner drop off and breakfast is available
• 8:05 AM: Learners dismissed to classroom. Campus closes for parents/visitors
• 8:10 AM: Instruction begins
• 1:43 PM: Monday Dismissal
• 2:30 PM: Tuesday-Friday Dismissal
